MJX Bugs 7 B7 No Registration GPS Brushless 4K Video Drone Flight Test Review
This small folding brushless FPV video drone weighs less than 250 grams, and does not require registration in most countries. Find the MJX B7 drone here https://bit.ly/2MJX-B7 Sample unedited B7 2.5K video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xKgOpvd8ek Sample unedited B7 4K video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xxDVrOkcs4 Pro - Small, highly transportable folding drone. - Very light at only 247 grams. This drone does not require registration with the FAA. - GPS system with automatic return to home and landing on command, losss of signal, and low battery. - Optical flow sensor for stable hover without GPS (such as for indoor flying). - High resolution image sensor capable of 4K video (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 16 fps, or 2.5K (2560 x 1440 pixels) video at 25 fps. - Camera lens can be manually angled up or down through 90 degrees. - 7.6V 1500mah LiHV battery provides true 15 minutes of flight time, even with high speed forward flight (I know, it surprised me too). - "M RC Pro" app provides FPV video, advanced flight mode capabilities of follow me, circle me, and waypoints, and adjustment of camera parameters (brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, and exposure). MRC Pro app may be downloaded for Android here https://bit.ly/MRCPro-Android or for iOS here https://bit.ly/MRCPro-iOS . Cons - The "M RC Pro" app requires a phone or tablet with 802.11ac WiFi. Not everyone has this type of WiFi on their phone. Before purchasing, it is very important to first verify that your phone is capable of connecting to 802.11ac WiFi. - Wide angled lens with fisheye effect. - Does not have video stabilization. Suggest MJX consider for a future release to include an onboard video processor to provide electronic video stabilization (MJX B7 Pro model? ;-). - A good high speed memory card is necessary to properly record video. Even a class 10 card did not write fast enough to record properly with mine. Recommend considering using a class U3 memory card (must be no greater than 32Gb). - Batteries take several hours to completely charge, even with a 2A wall charger. Be patient during charging to wait for the blinking green light to change to steady green indicating full charge of the 7.6V LiHV battery.
