Corrosion had severely damaged the connection pads separating them from the memory card. After careful inspection, we were able to spot the damage. As it turned out, corrosion from salt water had eaten away all mating points of the interface with the card's circuitry. Connections were restored using a microscope, 40AWG wire, and JBC soldering station.
