Beta85X HD DVR 1080p 60fps Cinewhoop Racer Drone Flight Test Review

Beta85X HD DVR 1080p 60fps Cinewhoop Racer Drone Flight Test Review
This brushless whoop drone includes a 1080p CADDX Turtle V2 camera with a 60fps DVR for very sharp aerial video footage. Find it here https://goo.gl/HxHGS2. Also recommend upgrading the camera firmware for best performance. How to upgrade the camera, and link to the firmware patch is available here https://youtu.be/INjz4cIl20M. Pros - Tiny whoop drone with an excellent camera/DVR. Produces surprisingly smooth flight video. You can take, fly, and record aerial video most anywhere and be less likely to incur the wrath of the drone phobic. - 1080p 60fps CADDX Turtle V2 camera. Camera includes a microphone if you wish to record sound (I muted mine to avoid the motor noise). - 60 fps full HD DVR with power off video protection. Video will be protected if you accidentally forgot to stop the video before turning off the drone. Simply power on the drone one more time and the video will be finalized and recorded to your micro SD card. Supports 8 to 64GB Class 10 micro SD cards. - 48 channel 0/25/200 mW power switchable FPV transmitter with Betaflight configurable on screen didplay. Also has Smartaudio capability for configuring the FPV transmitter and drone parameters in the field using your transmitter. CADDX Turtle camera also has built-in on screen display, although it is somewhat redundant to the FPV OSD. - Very small but very high performing Lumenier AXII FPV antenna. - Omibus F4SD flight control board loaded with 3.5.0 dated August 14, 2018. - BLHeli_32 16A/25A ESC. - BetaFPV 1105 6000KV motors. - Spare prop guard/drone frames are available for purchase if you bash up the drone. - Available BNF receivers are Frsky (FCC and LBT), Flsky, DSMX, Futaba, TBS Crossfire. Also available as PNP if you wish to install your own. Cons - Not very punchy due to the camera/DVR weight. You can feel the weight of the larger camera and DVR. Unfortunately only 2S or 3S battery power can currently be used. Don't try 4S to up the punch as 4S will likely damage it. - Upgrade the camera's firmware if you notice lines in your video. How to do, and link to the firmware patch is available here https://youtu.be/INjz4cIl20M. - CADDX Turtle V2 Camera is somewhat large for the drone's canopy. As such, it can't be tilted any further up than 25 degrees. This limits the maximum speed that you can comfortably fly without trying to crane your neck up.
