KK-13 Dragonfly Brushless GPS 2 Axis Gimbal Drone Flight Test Review
Could this clone drone be a Parrot Anafi killer? Watch and find out. You can find the KK-13 Dragonfly here http://bit.ly/KK13-Dragonfly Pros - 1406 brushless motors. - Super HD resolution (2592 x 1520 pixel) video and photos recorded to an onboard SD card. - Camera has a two axis stabilized gimbal that has capability of viewing directly down and full up. - Drone has GPS with automatic return to home and landing on command, loss of signal, and low voltage. - Drone also has an optical flow sensor that enables it to hover automatically indoors without GPS satellite reception. - 7.6V 3000mah battery provides up to 25 minutes of flight time. - Swift GPS app provides real time FPV viewing of in flight video. It also provides advanced flight mode capabilities of follow me, circle position, and waypoints. Cons - Drone's app requires use of a phone with 802.11ac WiFi. Nopt everyone has this type of WiFi on their phone. Before purchasing, verify that your phone is indeed 802.11ac WiFi capable, or you may be very disappointed. - The drone's camera sensor is 2592 x 1520 resolution. The app has capability of electronically enlarging still photos to 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution, thus advertised claim of 4K capability. - The drone's SD card writer appears to have a electronic design defect, preventing it from reliably recording and saving of video and photos. I tried multiple SD cards at various write speeds of Class 10, U1, and U3. Other reviewers seem to be experiencing the same problem with this drone's card writer. Hopefully this will be corrected in a future release. - My drone's WiFi transmitter also seemed to have problems. It would stop transmitting when the drone's battery power would fall below 50%. - App's up and away capability does not seem to have been implemented.
